about
Hello!
Hi, I’m Angie! I’m a wife, mom, registered nurse, and a Lord of the Rings nerd. I love gardening, camping, outdoor adventures, cooking from scratch, and soaking up all the cozy vibes of the “-ber” months. I’m also a chronic overthinker, learning how to rescue my ideas from getting stuck in my head. I’ve always been ambitious about creating, but I’ve struggled with follow-through—partly because of perfectionism and partly because I often doubt myself. That’s something I’m seeking to change.
I’ve been a Christian for about 15 years, and in that time, God has gently but firmly worked on my heart. He’s broken me free from habits and sins that weighed me down, and He’s shown me that much of my doubt and lack of confidence were rooted in pride. Believing I’m “not good enough” or assuming my efforts will fail isn’t humility—it’s distrust in God and a tendency toward self-reliance. These days, I’m choosing instead to rest in the truth that God is providential over everything. If I trust Him, then whatever I do—when done for His glory—He will establish my steps.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths” (Prov. 3:5–6).
Trusting the Lord isn’t always easy. Even when I think I’m relying on Him, subtle doubts, fears, pride, or self-reliance can creep in. But when I lay those burdens down, do my best, and entrust the outcome to God—believing He always does what is best—I find I don’t need to worry. His peace protects my heart.
If you’ve struggled with this too, I hope this little corner of the internet brings you encouragement to finally step into those ideas that have been sitting on your heart for far too long. Lean into the gifts God has given you—not with pressure to make everything perfect, but with prayer and faith that He will handle the results. And whatever you do—whether in words, deeds, DIY projects, or in motherhood—may it all be done for His glory.
I’m so glad you’re here!
